Is your file system in a mess?
Organize your files once and for all with tags.
So What is a tag?
A tag is a keyword or term assigned to a piece of information (such as an internet bookmark, digital image, or computer file). This kind of metadata helps describe an item and allows it to be found again by browsing or searching.
Doesn't Vista do this?
Windows Vista only allows you to add tags to particular file types, with Taggtool you can add tags to ANY file you like including files on removable media. Also, Vista doesn't provide a single place for you to manage your tags but with Taggtool you can create and manage your tags with ease.
Another issue with Vista is that it stores your tags inside the file which means that anyone you give the file to can read your tags, with Taggtool your tags are kept private at all times.
Import existing Microsoft Office files, you can then search metadata such as Author and Subject.
Add meaningful tags to your digital photo's.
Create a searchable database of magazine cover disc content.
Add tags to educational material such as assignments, essays and reference articles.
Search your Delicious bookmarks from the desktop.
Add tags to file shortcuts for quick searching and launching of files and applications.
Add tags to your sound sample libraries.
Add tags to files on a shared network drive to improve file sharing between users.
Add tags to your video clips
Add tags to business documents such as contracts, quotes and invoices.
