Searching

Select the 'Search' Tab to activate the search screen.

Use text field to enter your search terms, by default the search engine will search against the tag title, description, tags, file name and file path.

Use the filter drop down list to apply a file type filter to your search results.

To Launch the file in it's default associated application, double click anywhere on it's row.

Enter Multiple search terms to narrow down your search.

To save a search, click on the save icon next to the filter drop down list.

Select an appropriate search folder to save this search under, if an appropriate search folder doesn't exist you can create a new search folder.

Enter a name for your search and click OK.

To run a saved search, click on the saved searches menu.

As well as launching the file, you can also perform the following operations via the context menu:

Launch File - Launches the file with the default application
Open Folder - Launches the file's folder
Select All - Auto-select all files
Copy to - Copy Selected files to a specific directory
Remove Tagged Files - Remove the selected tagged files from the database (Note: This does not delete the physical file(s))
Print results
Open the file with a custom application configured via the Taggtool Settings dialog.
